Philip McGuinness: actor & Photographer
Through the digital bootcamps, I learnt how to tell story through images and the importance of complementary photographs and moving image.
I would highly recommend working with Cinemateca. They are so supportive, encouraging, highly skills and a joy to be around.

katie amos: photographer & filmmaker
I have learnt the skills required to make short films, including editing software, filming techniques and technical details. My short film made on the course has been selected at numerous film festivals and was recently awarded ‘audience choice’ at a screening. Since the course, I have been commissioned to make films by businesses local to me.

bea badilla: performer & composer
Completing the Bootcamp has boosted my confidence in trying new things & pursuing opportunities I might have hesitated to take before. I’ve gained practical skills, learned to solve problems creatively, and developed a more adaptable mindset. The experience has opened doors to new industries and motivated me to keep learning & growing.

andrew whitehead: actor
The quality of the bootcamp was outstanding and the people involved as leaders or as fellow learners was a great mix! The team at Cinemateca continue to support and encourage our filmmaking. They also share paid opportunities that they hear of through their own network. I’m immensely proud of what I managed to create in such a short time.
